Founded with the vision of making authentic classical music accessible to all, we have been nurturing musical talents for over a decade.

Meet Our Founder
Pawan Rai is a passionate Singer, Musician, and Educator, and the visionary behind Gandhar Music Academy, Sikkim. Born on 12th August 1988 to proud parents Mrs. Kalpana Rai and Mr. Ram Kumar Rai, he has dedicated his life to the preservation and promotion of Indian classical music.
A graduate in music from the esteemed Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan, Pawan trained under legendary gurus like Pandit Mohan Singh Khangura and Prof. Basavi Mukherjee.
Over the years, he has become a recognized name and inspiration—not just in Sikkim, but across the country. His dream is to help young talents of Sikkim discover the spiritual and technical depth of classical music, and create their own legacy.
He has received Gorkha Ratna Samman, State Award in the field of Music, Denzong Kala Purashkar & many more.
